FAMILY ADVOCATE-Head Start,
Position Summary: A 40 hour/week position to assist families in
fostering their children’s development from pregnancy through age 5 and
in attaining their personal goals.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED.

supplemental security income or social security
disability insurance to prevent or end homelessness
and promote recovery.
Minimum Qualifications: 24 hours of higher education
with 12 hours in the human services field and/or 2
years experience in the human services field.
Blue Valley Community Action is recruiting individuals who want to make
a difference to serve as AmeriCorps VISTA members. VISTAs dedicate a
year to carrying out service projects that improve our communities. When
you serve as a VISTA member, you’ll improve your job skills through
specialized training, earn a monetary award to use toward higher
education or the payment of student loans, and gain resume-ready
experience carrying out a challenging project with measured results.

families’ access to developmental assets through after school and
