FAMILY & COMMUNITY SERVICES (FCS) COORDINATOR II | Office location will be determined after applicant is hired.

Position Summary: A 40 hour/week position to assist individuals and families in accessing resources and services in the community. Applicant will be responsible for both the Thayer and Fillmore County FCS Centers which are located in Hebron NE and Geneva NE.

Minimum Qualifications: Must have 24 hours of post-high school education with 12 hours in the human services field and/or two years of experience in the human service field or related field.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Nursing, Social Work or related field with coursework directly related to infants and toddlers. Preference will be given to bilingual applicants.

Blue Valley Community Action is recruiting individuals who want to make a difference to serve as AmeriCorps VISTA members. VISTAs dedicate a year to carrying out service projects that improve our communities. When you serve as a VISTA member, you’ll improve your job skills through specialized training, earn a monetary award to use toward higher education or the payment of student loans, and gain resume-ready experience carrying out a challenging project with measured results.

BVCA is seeking VISTAs to carry out a project increasing low-income families’ access to developmental assets through after school and community programming in Southeast Nebraska. The project requires a team of individuals with a range of skills; to find out how your own skills and experience may contribute to a year of VISTA service, take a look at the opportunity listing linked below or enquire directly to BVCA’s FYI Center.
