HEALTH & NUTRITION PROFESSIONAL | BVCA Administrative Office, Fairbury NE

We have flexibility to try new approaches with our core funding resource and we mobilize local, state and national resources to provide the activities and services needed for motivating individuals and creating opportunities for self-sufficiency. Some services are traditional, but innovation is an important part of our organization. The organization has a history of establishing solutions to area needs.

Position Overview:
BVCA is seeking exceptional health and nutrition professionals to expand health care services and ensure the wellbeing of children and families in the BVCA service area. BVCA is in search of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Dieticians (RD), or Dietetic Technicians (DTR) to fill Full Time and Part Time positions. BVCA provides a “family friendly” atmosphere with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities May Include:
• Manage the Women Infant and Children (WIC) program and other health/nutrition programs
• Serve as a professional nutrition education resource for customers
• Secure and operate functional sites
• Schedule appropriate personnel for clinics
• Comply with program regulations
• Prepare financial reports to funding sources
• Prepare documents for refunding
• Identify prospective projects based on gaps of services
• Implement and foster partnerships with private and public entities
• Provide a positive climate by communicating effectively and professionally

GRANT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER | BVCA Administrative Office, Fairbury NE


Position Summary: A 40 hour/week administrative position that manages grant research and application, the agency planning system and assists Department Directors and Chief Executive Officer with grant writing and planning in a professional manner and within given timeframes.

Minimum Qualifications: A four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
