Blue Valley Community Action (BVCA) Partnership maintains a physical presence in each county we serve. While not all programs have local offices, the Family and Community Service (FCS) Centers are available to assist residents of our nine Nebraska core counties (Butler, Fillmore, Gage, Jefferson, Polk, Saline, Seward, Thayer and York). FCS staff are familiar with the diverse programs operated by BVCA Partnership and other human service agencies. They are an excellent first contact. Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers, most FCS centers are open five days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (see Family & Community Service Centers below). It is best to phone ahead to confirm an office will be open to serve you. In Kansas, Blue Valley Community Action Partnership has Head Start Centers in Jewell and Smith counties. Our Head Start programs operate most of the school year. Again, it is best to call and confirm the center's hours. If you need information or assistance when our local offices are closed, please call our home office (402.729.2278). We will be glad to direct your call to a staff member who can assist you. |
