Volunteers are the life's blood of our organization. They help us to fulfill our mission, keep our promise, and live our principles. By volunteering with Blue Valley Community Action (BVCA) Partnership, you have an opportunity to help your friends, family, neighbors, and community. And by helping others, you just may find you have helped yourself.

At this time, Blue Valley Partnership does not use an agency-wide application process for volunteers. Virtually every program uses volunteers, however, and the volunteer opportunities are as diverse as the families and communities we serve. Depending upon the program and the volunteer position, you may work an hour a month or an hour a day. You may start immediately or you may need to receive additional training. You could rock children to sleep, stock food pantry shelves, or help a battered woman and her children find safety. We encourage you to contact the individuals responsible for operating a particular program to obtain information on current volunteer opportunities including responsibilities, hours per month, and special skills. And remember, if you have an idea that is not listed, we would love to hear it.
