About the Program

This program has a variety of options. We have financial literacy education and savings and matching assistance with car purchases, first time rental expenses or home purchase, higher education tuition expenses, medical bills, or debt consolidation. There are specific criteria and match ratio for each category.  

We Serve

Older youth, ages 14 to 26 years of age, enrolled in CYI, and interested in goal setting, saving, and making asset purchases.

Related Programs

All scholarships will be in the amount of $1,000 and can be used for tuition, books and fees associated with enrollment. Three scholarships will be awarded.

This is a framework of programs and services helping older unconnected youth voluntarily transition successfully into adulthood. It includes gap funding for essential services or resources. 

A voluntary service for families and individuals needing support with resources or services which will help them thrive and avoid becoming involved in formal government systems. This includes single and two parent families with children 18 years of age and younger who are residing with them; pregnant or parenting youth/young adults; or young adults without children 19 to 24 years of age. 

SOAR provides assistance in navigating through the process of applying for Supplemental Security Income and/or Social Security Disability Insurance.

We sell clothing, household, and other miscellaneous items donated by the general public at thrift stores for the general public.
