What do parents think about BVCA Head Start?

“Since taking my child to the BVCA Head Start center in York, she has made so much progress! She has learned her ABC’s, how to pour cereal for herself, and made tons of new friends from the center. The teachers at BVCA Head Start are incredible. They ensure that my daughter’s needs are being met, make sure to inform us of all the progress that she is making, and even give me things we can work on at home to advance my child’s education. Working with BVCA Head Start has taught me that I am my child’s most important teacher, and they have given me the resources I need to be able to teach her to the best of my ability! If you can join BVCA Head Start, do it!”

Head Start Parent

“My son started going to Head Start when he was 3 and continued the program until he was 5, and we couldn’t be happier! For a free program they definitely care! They came to our home to teach us about nutrition for a toddler and made sure we knew what he was learning so we could practice at home! The teachers are always transparent and keep you in the loop. We love BVCA Head Start!”
